Exhibition considerations:
- Artists must be or become members of the Township Community Arts Council.
- There is a non-refundable exhibition installation fee of $150.00, payable via e-transfer when show date is confirmed and BEFORE installation day.
- It is not necessary for artists to be residents of Esquimalt.
- Only larger works are accepted due to the wall treatment (brick) at the Gallery. To discuss what this means, contact the Gallery Splash! Coordinator at [email protected].
- A minimum of 15-18 art pieces are required to fill the 2000 sq ft space.
- All art must be original. No prints or reproductions will be accepted.
- Artists must read the artist agreement in detail and be able to comply with all requirements.
- Gallery Splash! volunteers must hang and take down all works at designated dates/times.
- Gallery exhibitions are curated by the gallery coordinator, who has full discretion regarding what is hung and where.
- Meet the Artist days are encouraged and may be arranged with the Gallery Coordinator.
- Artists must respect the space and ensure that the Gallery is treated gently.
